Sparkle Sparkle returns for a festive, family-friendly season of eye-catching, heart-warming cheer!
The science centre is open late every night, and full of holiday surprises! Starting at 5pm, guests will experience the magic of Goodnight Moon, holiday carollers, quirky characters on stilts, a robot dog, crack open a geode, and so much more! Guests can enjoy the whole science centre - with a holiday twist. There are fun treats to be found in every corner.
Be sure to check out the Alien who stole Christmas in the Infinity Dome and of course get your shopping all done at the Spark Store.
From warm, festive peppermint drinks to ice cream that is out of this world, Sparkle Sparkle has something for everyone.

November 22 - January 8, 2023 - Zoolights at the Calgary Zoo
ZOOLIGHTS is back for its 26th year! Calgary's award winning, magical holiday tradition will be glowing for seven weeks of festive family-friendly fun. Enjoy all the magic of ZOOLIGHTS while supporting wildlife conservation - it's a win-win! Click here for the full list of ZOOLIGHTS activities.
Book a little extra special sparkle and reserve one of the Zoolights: Snow Globes. The twinkling oasis is a one-of-a-king dining experience for family-dinner, date night, or a fun night out with friends!

December 15 - Bridgeland-Riverside Seniors Holiday Social at the Bridgeland Campus Centre Street Church
Head to the Bridgeland Campus Centre Street Church at 235 8A Street NE for an afternoon of live holiday music, carolling, snacks, drinks, games, and activities! This event is free-to-attend. Please RSVP by email at programs@brcacalgary.org or call 403-263-5755.

December 31 - Zoo Years's Eve at the Calgary Zoo
Celebrate the last night of the year with the best and brightest backdrop in the city.
You'll be able to enjoy all the fun of ZOOLIGHTS, presented by Olympia Trust Company, with extra special activities added to help you ring in the New Year - including numerous countdowns and a Zoo Year’s Eve light show so your little ones don't have to stay up too late to partake in the fun! It's a festive way to help you and your loved ones ring in the new year while supporting the Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo’s wildlife conservation efforts. Zoo concessions will be open for food and beverage purchases.
